Half of Americans Oppose LIV Golf League, per an October 2022 Voter Survey
MIAMI - October 26, 2022 - (Newswire.com)
A recently conducted survey of voters in the United States indicates widespread opposition to the LIV Golf League and shows that a large majority of voters would also be less likely to support a candidate for public office who supports the Saudi Arabia-funded LIV Golf league.
Forty-seven percent of Americans oppose the Saudi Arabian-funded LIV golf league, with only 12% supporting it. Additionally, sixty-four percent of voters oppose former President Trump hosting Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf League at his golf clubs in Bedminster, New Jersey, and Doral, Florida, outside Miami.
"This data proves what we've always known: That Americans oppose the Saudi-funded LIV Golf League, and they are willing to vote against politicians who support LIV. That includes Republican voters willing to walk away from President Trump because of his support of Saudi-funded LIV Golf," said Brett Eagleson of 9/11 Justice. "I hope our public leaders take this data to heart. The concerns about Saudi Arabia are real, and they are happening at kitchen tables in the U.S., not just in paneled rooms in Washington."
The poll was conducted by Baselice & Associates, Inc., on Oct. 22-24, 2022, among N=845 voters across the United States. The margin of error to the results of 845 interviews is +/- 3.4 percent at the .95 confidence interval. All results rounded to the nearest whole percentage.

A group of 9/11 family members and survivors from the organization 9/11 Justice will hold a press conference vocalizing their objections to the Saudi Arabian-funded LIV Golf series and its tournament being held at the nearby Trump National Doral Golf Club on October 28-30.
The 9/11 family members will address their views and contentions, which include:
- The Saudi government's role in supporting the 9/11 terrorist attacks, including about recently declassified FBI investigative documents;
- The implications of Saudi efforts to "sportswash" its egregious past;
- The willing complicity of professional golfers choosing to take Saudi payouts and look the other way on the country's reported human rights abuses and role in the worst terrorist attacks on American soil.

Faith Works Crisscrosses Georgia for Series of Get-Out-the-Vote Rallies to Promote Early Voting

Faith Works, Georgia's unified body of faith leaders fighting against the anti-voting law SB 202, announced today that it would crisscross Georgia during the month of October for a series of local rallies to highlight early voting opportunities and showcase the work of local faith institutions who are promoting the democratic ideal of voter participation. Earlier this month, Faith Works announced a massive effort to ensure that over 1,000 local churches, synagogues, mosques, and other faith institutions create their own customized voter engagement campaigns to ensure every person within their local congregations has the information and ability to vote this Fall.
In Faith Works' view, after a record turnout by African-American voters in the 2020 election, extremists in Georgia constructed and spent millions of dollars on a campaign designed to minimize and invalidate various communities throughout the state from voting, most specifically voters of color, for this year's election. The anchor of this effort was Georgia's new anti-voting law, SB 202, which passed without debate or discourse. SB 202 significantly diminishes the ability to request and submit absentee ballots, minimizes voting opportunities across the state, makes it a crime to offer food or water to people waiting in long lines to vote, and places the politically controlled legislature in control of the State Election Board, rather than the elected Secretary of State. This bill, lacking both empathy and compassion, has brought suffering to thousands of women in our state, as similar bills have across our nation. The rain he is referring to was responsible for hundreds of farmers losing crops and income. This was no act of God, but a poor argument from a failing Senator whose only hope is to misuse religion for his own personal gain. Additionally, it misrepresents countless people of faith who desire a reasonable, caring approach to protecting reproductive rights.
85% of Americans support access to reproductive health services (Gallup 2022) - access that the Oklahoma bill denies. The growing trend of James Lankford abusing his own interpretation of faith to gain the trust of his constituents goes hand-in-hand with the extreme government overreach that he is forcing on others. He is not the first elected official throughout history to abuse religious views in this way, but it is another shameful example of a Senator who has become a mouthpiece for divisive factions and political pandering.
The fact is, women are now suffering, Oklahoma is still in a drought, and elected officials like James Lankford must be voted out this November."
