President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. welcomed Prime Minister Alexander De Croo to the White House today to deepen the United States and Belgium’s cooperation on global issues and to bolster transatlantic security. In particular, they reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting Ukraine and discussed efforts to make the greatest use of immobilized sovereign assets for the benefit of Ukraine. The leaders affirmed the importance of the NATO Alliance and the need to remain vigilant against Russian threats to election integrity.
